Introduction:
Hi there! Thanks for visiting! This blog will serve as a place for me to document, collect, and share the knowledge and skills that I am learning in my quest to become more of a rustic man. Will I ever attain this goal? Probably not. "Why not?" you ask. Well, having been born and raised in the city, I am starting with very little knowledge, but I've always wanted to learn and practice these skills.  Also, my wife and I just bought our first house less than a year ago, and I'm now realizing that I have a lot to learn about home maintenance/repair alone. Lastly, with more and more Americans being raised in the city, I'm sure there are others who could benefit from my experiences.

What you'll find:
While I won't be writing about any one skill specifically (e.g., woodworking, leather tooling, etc.), I'll be posting about the skills, projects, and tidbits that I attempt and learn along the way. My goal here is to become more of a jack-of-all-trades than a master-of-something.
